Wednesday morning.The police report that a black woman allegedly approached a check out clerk at the store and handed her a note that said "stick up" on it.She also showed a handgun but did not point it at the clerk.After getting an undisclosed amount of money the woman ran out of the store. The Quincy police are investigating an armed robbery at the Quincy Hy-Vee store at 14th and Harrison.It happened just after 1:00 a.m. She is charged with armed robbery and is now in the Adams County Jail. Police were able to locate the cash taken in the robbery along with a bb-pellet handgun. She was arrested at a residence in the 1500 block of South 6th Street in Quincy. The Quincy Police Department says they've made an arrest in connection to the armed robbery of the Harrison Street Hy-Vee.
